Dr. Bernstein has been practicing in the Annapolis area for over 20 years and is board certified in both internal medicine and pulmonary diseases. He has a wide range of interests. His senior paper at the University of Michigan was written on Nutritional influences on Cancer. His primary clinical interest while a pulmonary fellow at George Washington University Medical Center focused on the clinical management of Asthma. The first 10 years he practiced pulmonary and critical care medicine in Annapolis, before transitioning into internal medicine and Asthma and allergy The wide scope of his training provides a unique foundation for the practice of Medicine. Dr. Bernstein has been recognized by the national publication U.S. News and World report as being one of the top physicians in the country.

Dr. Bernstein has privileges at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He currently utilizes the hospitalist staff to admit patients. Dr. Bernstein does like to visit his patients in the hospital. We request that the patient or their family make it their responsibility to notify us of a hospital admission
